Crystal has spent the last 11 years working for the Cornell Cooperative Extension, and is now an organic vegetable specialist with the Extension’s Eastern NY Commercial Horticulture program.

In addition to conducting research on organic vegetable production, teaching, and offering production consultation, Crystal has been working with Holistic Management International for the past 7 years primarily with groups of women farmers throughout the Northeast to balance the social, economic, and environmental aspects of their craft.
