Land Access for Urban Farmers (LIVESTREAM)

Log in to save this to your schedule and see who's attending!

Limited Capacity seats available

This workshop will help beginning and established farmers to find and assess urban land. We will explore land access options and address finding the “right” piece of land for your enterprise. Farmers and farm-seekers will better understand land access and tenure, and how various strategies effect business planning. We will discuss concerns specific to urban land (contaminants, pests, neighbors, lack of support infrastructure) as well as racism and access issues, and community organizing around these issues. We will share stories about specific successes and challenges, innovative models, programs, and resources

This workshop will be livestreamed on www.virtualgrange.org
