Anyone who has tried to make money selling eggs will tell you that there's more to a small-scale egg enterprise than just raising the birds. This workshop will cover the steps from when an egg is laid up until when the customer buys it, including egg collection, handling, washing, storage, packing, and marketing. We will walk through how these steps are done at Stone Barns Center as well as other options for small-scale egg enterprises.
